Its time to make a difference for a better World!

This one-day forum presented in collaboration with INDOfest 2016, and various other Indonesian organisations in SA – such as AIYA-SA, PPIA-UoA, PPIA-UniSA and GoLive – is proud to present a free public forum which is led by youth, made by youth, and for the youth.

The session will highlight the challenges and opportunities faced by Indonesia for conducting effective waste management and lessons to be learned from the South Australian waste management practices, which is praised by the United Nations for its innovation and legislative reforms (Zero Waste SA). Speakers of the forum will consist of top South Australian and Indonesian experts in the fields of waste management, environmental management, and sustainability.

This forum will be engaging for those beyond the Australian-Indonesian community, including all those interested in waste management and its impact on the broader spheres of social culture, tourism, public health and business. Who knows, you may pick up a lesson or two to improve your own waste management skills!

The full list of speakers for thes Youth Forum has just been announced! The session will highlight Indonesia’s capabilities to conduct effective waste management and lessons to be learned from the South Australian practices, which have been praised in the past by international bodies such as the United Nations for its innovation and legislative reforms.

Celebrating 25 Years of Success with UniSA

04/03/2016

25 years ago, UniSA brought together a collection of colleges, institutes and schools and melded them into one university. In the past 25 years, not only have the merging of the disparate colleges and institutes being successful, the university is now considered to be one of the world’s best new young universities.

In the 2015 QS World University Rankings, UniSA is in the top 300 ranked at 288 up from 333 in 2014. UniSA is one of only two Australian institutions aged under 25 to feature in the top 300 of the QS rankings in 2015. The result is an encouragement for everyone at the University as it reflect UniSA’s energy and ambition as an institution as well as its ongoing commitment to excellence and progress. PPIA UniSA is proud of this achievement and would like to congratulate the university on this fantastic achievement.
